There are thousands of games out there, but only a select few would be considered "awesome games". But what happens when a game gets boring? What makes a game fun even when it gets boring? A way to spice up an old games is to, after you have beaten the main part, is to go and play all the side missions, finding all the items, unlocking all the weapons. Then when you fight the final boss, your characters are insane strong and totally own hit with one hit. He never stood a chance. That is fine and all, but that takes like 40 extra hours to do that, which is worse considering the fact that most role playing games (i.e. Final Fantasy games) take 50-60 hours just to beat the main story. That accounts for 90-100 hours of your life wasted on just finding stuff you didn't need! Sometimes the best way to get back into a game is to not play it for a while, and eventually you'll pick up that game again and say, "I haven't played this in a while," and you'll be back into it. Next time I will talk about other ways that gamers revive old games that they haven't played in a while.

So I totally agree with what you are saying that you should probably just put down a game and then sooner or later you will pick it back up. This is so true with me because I get tired of games very easily except for RPG's because I usually try and do everything that you can possibly do and explore every possible nook and cranny. Usually what happens is I will play a game for like a straight week then get burnt out on it and put it away and then maybe a month or two later I will pick it up so this is so true on so many levels.
I completely get what you guys are talking about. At my house, we don't have that many video games since we are always busy with school and sports and what not so whenever we do play, we have to play the ones that we play all the time. Don't get me wrong, we still play our share of video games. We prefer to play sports games since those don't get as repetitive as most rpg games do. They are always challenging and you don't have to worry about a game being only single player or multi-playered.
