Game Consoles: Next Gen (Prt 2)

Not too far ago, the next gen consoles arrived. These consoles boasted the best graphics of all time and the greatest games you'll ever play. But is this true? And if so, which is the best next gen console to buy?

First is the Wii. It's from Nintendo and is the first next gen console and first to be centered around tilt function technology. That is, the controller has several sensors inside to tell which direction the controller is facing in proportion to the console and TV. The Wii is also the cheapest of the consoles, a mere $250, that's including the full controller. This would leave you with tons of money left over for games. The only thing is that the Wii doesn't focus on uber graphics, it focuses more on the gameplay and how you'll use the controller, so if graphics aren't a concern, get this console.

Next is the XBOX 360. It's developer is Microsoft, and was the second of the next gens to pop up on the market. This gives it a slight lead against the competition since it's got more games to play than the other consoles. The system has a reasonable price range of around $400, which is pretty good considering it's a new gaming system.

Finally there is the PS3. It's developed by Sony and was the latest next gen to be released. The graphics are a little better than that of the XBOX 360, but the drawbacks are the lack of games and the price. It costs around $600, which is a hefty price to pay, plus that is not including the games, so you'll have to allocate more money to purchase some games for your system as well. Plus since it's been out for the least amount of time, it has the fewest games. But with time and patience, the price should go down and the fan base will widen, and it should do just as well as the other consoles.

With all these systems to choose from, it may be confusing, but each of them have there strengths and weaknesses, so just pick the one that is best for you.
