Pay For Everything (Minute Nine)

I waited in the backseat as they were heading back to the car. I could see the anger on both of their faces. The female was angry because she couldn’t see her favorite movie, and the Gamer was angry because he wasted a trip and probably missed out on some crucial gaming time. They got into the car and everything was completely silent. I held my breath so they couldn’t hear me in the backseat since it was so quiet. The silence was nauseating because I knew something was about to go down, and just right before I exhaled to take another breath the female and Gamer shouted at each other at the top of their lungs! The car was starting to rock they were yelling so furiously. But then I realized that the car wasn’t starting. The car’s inability to start caused them both to go silent again.
“You have GOT TO BE SH**TING ME!!!” exploded the female. “I’m leaving now! Call me a cab and leave me alone!”
This excited the Gamer because he was tired of her too. “Okay! I’ll call a cab and my mom so we don’t have to ride back together. I didn’t know anyone could yell so loud.” He made the phone calls and the female left the car to wait outside. The Gamer kept trying to start his car. After a few more attempts, the engine finally turned over with another loud squeal. “Alright, get in! It’s working again.” The female motioned that she would rather wait for the cab. “Do you have any money, because I don’t have any cash,” The girl dropped her head and walked back to the car.
“Wait a minute…if you don’t have any money…why did you take me to the movie theater? HUH?”
“Oh that’s easy. I thought you were going to pay. I definitely don’t have a job. I’m broke as a joke,” replied the Gamer.
The female had no reply. She just opened her mouth and stopped, “Just take me home.”........
